MUSEUM: Museum and Regional Studies is the oldest continously published museological journal in the Czech Republic.
The peer-reviewed interdisciplinary scientific journal focuses on all the aspects of contemporary museum studies and practice. It presents studies, articles, essays, other materials, reports and reviews from the areas of both theoretical and practical museology, museum exhibition design, museum education, preservation, restoration, taxidermy, museum presentation, museum management, as well as other related aspects of contemporary cultural heritage issues.
The Journal is published twice a year in the Czech language with English and German abstracts. Sice 2015 the journal is included in the European Reference Index containing bibliographic information on academic journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences, ERIH PLUS.
